Our Story
FyleTransfer started in 2026 as an independent product built around a simple idea: file sharing should be fast, simple, and privacy-focused. It's currently being developed and managed by a small, focused team rather than a large organization.
The initial focus was on building a simple way to send files online, and it has gradually expanded to include password protection, expiring links, analytics, and local-network sharing.
Why We Built FyleTransfer
The idea came from a very common frustration: sharing files should not feel complicated. Email has attachment size limitations, many file-sharing services add unnecessary steps, and transferring files between devices on the same Wi-Fi network can also be inconvenient.
We wanted to build one simple platform where people could send files online through a link, and also transfer files locally between devices on the same network — without the extra friction.
FyleTransfer operates from India, and we're building the product with a global audience in mind — it's available worldwide. Your files are protected in line with our privacy policy.
